EEG

When deriving des

Electroencephalogram (EEG)

the electrical activity of different regions of the brain is recorded using surface electrodes on the scalp. Based on the derived brain waves, conclusions can be drawn about certain neurological diseases.

2

EMG

Electromyography (EMG)  is used to measure electrical activity in selected muscles.

The measured electrical activity can be used to assess muscle and nerve function, which can be used to diagnose various muscle and nerve diseases.

3

NLG

The determination of the nerve conduction velocity (NLG) or also called electroneurography (ENG) is a procedure in which the electrical activity of nerves is measured.  This examination provides information about which nerves are affected by a disease and the type of damage.

4

SEPT

The abbreviation SEP stands for Somatosensory Evoked Potentials.

Here, sensitive nerves are repeatedly electrically stimulated and the resulting electrical potentials are derived at different parts of the body . The results can give conclusions about various neurological diseases.

5

VEP

When examining the visually evoked potentials (VEP), the function of the visual pathway from the eye to the visual cortex of the brain is examined. The patient looks at a changing pattern displayed on a monitor. The path of this visual stimulus through the brain to the visual cortex can thus be measured.

6

AEP

When examining the acoustically evoked potentials (AEP), the function of the auditory pathway from the ear to the brain stem is examined. The patient hears acoustic stimuli through headphones. The path of this auditory stimulus to the brain can be measured and evaluated .

7

Ultrasonic

The ultrasound examination of the arteries supplying the brain is a procedure that examines the condition and blood flow of arteries in the neck and the head examined by ultrasound.

The ultrasound diagnosis quickly and reliably provides valuable information about the current vascular status.

9

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an alternative healing method derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

In acupuncture thin needles are inserted into certain acupuncture points of the body to regulate the flow of energy in the body, the so-called Qi.

Certificates

Certificates are medical reports that can be created, for example, at the request of authorities or offices, but also at private request.

Depending on the question, the amount of work involved in creating these reports  can vary. The costs for certificates can also vary as a result.
